An outstanding start to the 2024-25 college basketball season, for the 8 teams concerned. Excellent opportunity for some great early wins.
The Men’s Basketball 2024 recruiting cycle is off to a great start. The Jays have had a few visits from prized recruits: 4* recruits PG Juni Mobley, SFs Tyler Betsey & Darrion Sutton, PF Jackson McAndrew, & C JT Rock; have all been on the Hilltop. 3* PG/SG Tyler Davis also visited back in June ’23. 4* SG/SF Jaiden Glover and 3* PG Tyler Bailey are scheduled for potential visits to the Jays.

Thus far both PG Davis and PF McAndrew have committed to Creighton. The current Jays 2024 class ranks as: #25 Rivals, #27 On3, & #44 247. 247’s Eric Bossi says McAndrew & Jaiden Glover are due for a bump up in the next 247 rankings. So the class will likely move into the mid-to-high 20’s there as well. Creighton has a Minimum of 4 slots open with the departures of Senior team members: Kalkbrenner, Scheierman, Farabello, & Ashford. Trey Alexander may also depart, dependent upon his 2024 NBA Draft status.
The potential is real for the 2024 class to become the highest-ranking class in the rankings era, surpassing both the 2006 and 2021 classes. We are potentially looking at a top 5 ranked recruiting class if our cards play out right.
