Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada’s a Jay!

20 July 2026 – ROLLING!!! Well…Just a bit over mid summer and Coach Huss & Company are still at it. The ‘Hussbuss’ picked up a proven French 19 y/o, 6-3 PG from the top french league. Dada has extensive FIBA youth experience as well. Reported by Arman Jovic of PDTS Scouting.on July 19th.

Fodzo Dada played sparingly off-the-bench for the 2024-26 SLUC Nancy team of the LNB Elite League. 2025-26 Avg: 6 ppg, 1,1 rbg, 1.9 astg, 0.5 stl; on 13 mpg. On the recent France 2025 U19 Team he avg’d: 12.4 ppg, 3.6 rbg, 2.4 astg.

Owen Jury: One of my favorite parts of every NBA Draft cycle is the pre-draft process — when an overlooked international prospect, ignored by most scouts for months, suddenly erupts onto the scene and forces his way into the conversation. Although he didn’t participate in the Hoops Summit, Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada is my bet to be this year’s pre-draft darling. His production this past season as a part of SLUC Nancy may not be groundbreaking, but when given proper context and after further diving into his priors, I walked away from his evaluation wildly encouraged. Fodzo Dada may not be the sexiest pick, but his archetype is undoubtedly coveted by league officials, especially by playoff teams looking to bolster their depth. But before I dive into said skillset, let’s take a look at the production that landed him firmly on my draft radar.

MOFD is an excellent pickup…at any time of the year, but especially late. Word is that Coach has been quietly working on this for at least a year. Fodzo Dada adds needed depth to the PG spot and will relieve pressure on SDSU Senior transfer BJ Davis, as well as incoming Frosh Katrelle Harmon. Excellent p/u by the Jays. Welcome home Marc–Owen!
