…another quick take. Milling about smartly til November…
Bama… Bama… Bama? Where ya at Alabama??

College Hoops exhibition slate is in full swing now. Multiple games weekly…many televised. Multiple sites covering and listing the slate as it transpires. Yes Rip (van Winkle)…you can awaken now! Several links at bottom.
Cbs’ Ike Trotter has an update today on games he considered relevant. Sited the Baylor win over Florida, Indiana over UNC, and Seattle over Oregon. Nice blurbs on Illinois, St. Johns, others. Noted Lil’ Cr8n’s win over Iowa State in the margins…
Such notable wins by teams over ‘ranked’ opponents is no longer a surprise – even in the pre-season. Ratings are an inexact ‘science’, being more closely akin to beauty pageants than to scientific, rigorous examinations. Having said that…It’s only exhibition season and “evidence” garnered from such games may or may not be reliable indicators of the season to come.
Lookin’ forward to the PET in November…vs ALABAMA! One of the greatest, least talked about, rivalries in college basketball! Roll Tide vs Let it Fly! Shoutout to Bluejay Josh Jones!!

What an excellent opportunity for this reloaded Jays squad…
Optimally- (winners side) we’re looking at:
16-UMich. – 14-UMiami. – 20-‘Bama. – 11-L’ville.
Opportunity to burst forward from low predictions/rankings into surprisingly unexpected prominence.
Michigan overrated and depleted roster. Miami /Louisville underrated with the cardinals over-reliance on 5th year transfers. Catching them early…good shot at the upsets.
Then there’s Alabama…always great to see the Tide!
They’ve got a couple of criminals sitting out games, couple of injuries, and we get to see Jaxon early. (He’ll transfer to CU next Spring, lol!). We ought to play annually, please. A great, little-known rivalry!! Would be an excellent PET bracket championship match…No love lost btwn these teams! Luv ya @coach_pmurph

There were a couple of talking heads (Rothstein, CBS’ Ike Trotter) saying CU was under appreciated / underrated. Here’s the chance to correct the naysayers and leap into the Top 15 nationally.
