Another weekend has come and gone.  2016 PF Michael Hurt and a few others visited the Hilltop this past 2 weeks and were definitely impressed with Creighton and the opportunity in Omaha.

Coach followed up with Chris Clark last with a home visit – prior to Chris’ visit to Tennessee a week ago.  It still appears that Creighton is well placed with its’ remaining top target in SF Chris Clarke.  The Clarke family has shut down contact while deliberating Chris’s options and forthcoming decisión.

Some of the faithful are hopeful to get Chris, including yours truly.  There are still visits scheduled for some 2016 recruits, but in all likelihood 2015 visits are complete…2016 PFs Hurt and Kriener visited, and 2016 SF Tyler Scanlon was to have visited on 3 Oct 14 – no report on Scanlon.  The Coaches have shut down recruiting pending Chris’s decisión.  A new offer on the West Coast to Brazilian 2016 PF Lucas Siewert but no news on any other recruitments including the 2 Canadian prospects. 

Just milling about, smartly – waiting for word.  Should know soon as Bluejay Madness is this weekend.

Coach followed up with Chris Clark last Thursday with a home visit – prior to Chris’ visit to VT over the weekend (no commit).  He has one remaining visit to Tennessee upcoming.

PG Marlon Stewart becomes the Jays 2nd verbal commit for 2015 – and also the staff’s 2nd under-the-radar steal this recruiting season, joining 4 star C/PF Justin Patton as future Bluejays.  Marlon’s decisive commit puts a sweet ending on the seeming merry-go-round of upcoming PG visits.  Jays are movin’ on. 

Jays offered 2016 Wing Isaiah Roby, from Dixon, Il., this week-per Twitter.  Ike visited back on August 14th. 

Bluejay Banter – Both the Rivals site and the Bluejay Underground have topic threads and stories on current recruiting status.  BJU has threads on both Canadian recruits as well.

  

The message boards assumption that the PG search is complete and that the focus moving forward will center around landing an SG and SF.  It still appears that Creighton is well placed with its’ remaining top target in SF Chris Clarke, who still has 1 scheduled visit (Tennessee) to take.  Most of the faithful are hopeful to get Chris.  There are still visits scheduled for some 2016 recruits, but in all likelihood 2015 visits are complete…unless an out of the blue 2015 wing recruit surfaces.  The 2 Canadian prospects are new, but hot.
