Jays 2012 Postseason – NCAA Bound

Well, well, well, here we are at the beginning of the 2012 Postseason. The Creighton Bluejays are going Dancin’ this year. It’s about time!

Last year we ‘settled’ for a bid in the CBI. The team won 4 straight home games, including the 1st game of the Best of 3 championship series. We traveled to Oregon and lost the Championship on a heartbreaker. That was then, this is now.

Being gtmo, I am thinking NCAA Championship. Creighton will, in all likelihood, be the best team in their matchups for the 1st 2-3 games in the tournament. 1 or more of our support players will have to step up their games, especially in games 4-6.

Our Mantra for the NCAAs: Win the Weekend! Bring home the Trophy!

I am expecting our guys to step up their games. I am expecting our guys to awaken the basketball public with their play and their winning.

I am expecting our guys, our team, the Creighton Bluejays, to Win the National Championships!

Does seeing the Statue of Liberty in Paris seem “Out of Place”? Well, it shouldn’t – there are 2 “Liberty” statues in Paris and only 1 in New York. All 3 were made in Paris and the NYC Liberty was a gift from France.

The Point? Everything is a matter of perspective. The (your) viewpoint depends on where you’re sitting. Liberty statue in Paris… Jays winning the NCAA Championship. Merely a matter of perspective… and of having the Heart of Champions and the dominative Will to Win!

Go Big Blue! Go Bluejays!

Hoops Recruiting Tidbits…

On another note…
Some standard and not so standard Recruiting info.

a) Jays hosted a group of 2013-14 recruits at the WSU game on the 11th of Feb. Hmmm. Hopefully the show put on will not be a lasting memory, or that sufficient “spin” can worked to say that we need these guys for team improvement(s).

However, the main published focus has recently been on 4 guys from 2013.

More surprising though is the recent listing of two (2) 2012 recruits over on the WBR’s Bluejay Under
ground board. One of the posters – HilltoAlum has been listing the 2013-2015 potential recruits and
has recently posted two players evidently being considered for the 2012 Class.

If there is serious consideration being given to either/both of these recruits, the coaching staff will
need to come up with additional “creative” ideas to land them. We are reportedly already over our
limit with scholies.

Stay tuned to news at them main CU fansites:
