Defensive Player of the Conference Season
DPOS: SG P’Allen Stinnett

Sophomore SG P’Allen Stinnett has been selected as the Bluenotes “D Sharp” – Defensive Player of the Conference Season awardee. Stinnett gained the award for his stalwart and consistent defensive play over the course of the MVC Regular Season. P’Allen has shown his committment to the team by improving his overall play and especially his defensive prowess to help in leading the Bluejays to their 1st MVC Regular Season Championship since 2002 (their 14th MVC Championship overall). Stinnett has displayed a team first attitude, has forgone personal acclaim and statistics, and has put forth exceptional efforts in doing his part in the teams’ championship run.

Stinnett joins PG Josh Dotzler (NonConference DPOS) and an as of yet to be determined Post Season DPOS, as the finalists for the Bluenote’s Defensive Player of the Year award, to be conferred at the season’s end.
