No. 18 CREIGHTON

The Bluejays are still working their way out from under the shadow of Doug McDermott’s legacy, but if that is going to happen, it is going to be this year. Because Creighton Men’s Basketball is as talented as they have been since McBuckets went on to the NBA.

The biggest reason for that is the back court, which is one of the best in the country. Everyone in the BIG EAST should know who Mo Watson is by now. After the year he had last season it would not be a surprise to see him end up as a first-team all-Big East player. But he may not be the best player in Creighton’s back court, not if Marcus Foster returns to the player that he was as a freshman for Kansas State in 2013-14.

And beyond that, there’s more talent on the roster, too. They have a nice blend of veterans and talented youngsters in their front court as well as guys like Isaiah Zierden and Cole Huff that have been through their share of battles. This team will make themselves known.
